Hello, How Can I Help?

  • Series: Summer 2008 Volume 15, Issue 3

Dear PFL Family,

I am excited to be the newest clinical therapist and member of Practical Family Living, and The Center for Family Healing team! I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a minor in Pre-Counseling from Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, ND, and a Master of Science in Education in Community Counseling from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. The past year-and-a-half, I served as an intern counselor at a local jail. While at the jail, I was involved in over 260 hours of individual therapy, facilitation of group counseling, development and implementation of a Men’s Wellness group. I also assisted in the advancement of a re-integration program.

As for my personal life, I am married and have three sons. When not playing and spending time with family, I enjoy my nose in a book, my favorite being mysteries. In addition, I serve a local church as an Adult Sunday School Teacher and Women’s Ministry Director. Currently, I am accepting clients at a rate of $40 per hour if not insured, or $75 per hour for those who do not have any out-of-plan benefits. I am looking forward to this new endeavor with Practical Family Living and The Center for Family Healing.
